MUSKEGON, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College women's volleyball lost two more on Saturday at the Lake Michigan tri-match, to the host Lake Michigan and to Harper College.
First, GLCC faced Lake Michigan, losing in straight sets. Lake Michigan took set one 25-14 and Great Lakes never recovered, dropping sets two and three 25-12 and 25-6 in the sweep.
Great Lakes' kill percentage for the match was -.093. Emma Hokanson led the team with five points.
The second match did not go much better for GLCC, as Harper jumped out to a 10-1 lead and cruised to win set one 25-13. Great Lakes kept in closer in the second, 25-18 and was tied with Harper at five in the third, but a 12-0 Harper run opened up a huge lead and they closed out the match easily, 25-8.
Great Lakes will have two more chances to find a win this season at the Siena Heights tri-match versus Siena Heights and Concordia on Friday.
