CHICAGO - Great Lakes Christian College women's volleyball began its end-of-season road stretch at Moody on Wednesday, losing in straight sets.
Moody took an early lead in set one and rode a 9-0 run to an easy 25-10 win. Great Lakes hung around in the second set, cutting Moody's lead to three, but the hosts held on to take a 2-0 lead and cruised through set three to claim the sweep (25-10, 25-20, 25-10).
GLCC finished with a -.031 kill percentage. Emma Hokanson led the team with five points. Hope Lamour led Moody with 13.5 points and Regan Getz tallied 27 assists.
Great Lakes will take on Lake Michigan and Ancilla College in a tri-match in Muskegon, Mich. on Saturday.
