TOCCOA, Ga. - Great Lakes Christian College continued its trip through the southern US on Monday, knocking off Toccoa Falls 2-0.
Randi Fitzgerald scored first off an assist from Morgan Chamberlain to put GLCC ahead and Solara Sheldon provided insurance with her goal from Brooke Pagel.
Great Lakes dictated the play throughout, despite the close score, outshooting Toccoa Falls 14-3 with seven of their shots on target. Rachel Wienclaw saved the only Toccoa Falls shot on frame. Catherine Howard made three saves for the hosts.
The team will return home for a Friday clash with another NCCAA opponent, former Mideast regional foe Maranatha Baptist, at 5:00 at Henderson Field.
