WHITING, Ind. - Great Lakes Christian College women's volleyball still seeks its first win after losing both of their games in a tri-match with Calumet College of St. Joseph and Grace Christian University on Saturday.
In their first match of the day, GLCC faced Grace for the third time this season, with the same result. Grace swept Great Lakes in straight sets, 25-11, 25-16, 25-19.
GLCC registered a kill percentage of -.069 in the game and were led by Stella Dunham's seven points. Moegan Postma led Grace with 14 points, including 10 from kills. Dana duChemin tallied 25 assists.
Game two against Calumet took place immediately afterward and followed the same script: Great Lakes scored more points in each set as the game went on but the result was never in doubt.
Great Lakes' kill percentage ended up at -.151 and Sophie Lindsay led the team with 3.5 points. Sincere Northern led Calumet's 11 different scorers with 13 points and Rebecca Larios led with 21 assists.
