Women's Volleyball Suspended for 2018 Season

Director of Athletics Richard Westerlund announced on August 30th that the Crusader Women's Volleyball program has been suspended for the 2018 season. Westerlund said. "It is very unfortunate that we had to cancel the season for this year. I feel for the student athletes who have been committed to our volleyball program but unfortunately we did not have enough interest to field a team this year. We are hopeful that our program is moving in the right direction although to many this is a negative move, we feel this is positive step forward as we will take the year to recruit and build our program with quality student-athletes who love the game of volleyball."

The Lady Crusaders were set to kick off their season on September 7th on the road at Alice Lloyd College. The Crusaders focus will now be on 2019. For any interested potential student-athletes contact Coach Richard Westerlund with any questions concerning the volleyball program.
