KISSIMMEE, Fla - The Great Lakes Christian College WSOC program palyed in it second straight national tournament Thursday afternoon as they took on Southwestern Adventist from Texas. The Crusaders were the one seed. GLCC jumped on the Knights early in the first half as they put three goals in the net off Randi Fitzgerald's foot. The region player of the year pushed her goal count to 20 on the season. The Crusaders dominated the Knights for the entire contest dominating the attacking third with 37 shots on the game and putting 19 on frame.
The Crusaders would advance to the National title game for the second consecutive year. They will take on the North Region Champ Providence College from Canada. The national title game is scheduled for Saturday the 19th at 3:30p.
