Player of the Week - Dalys McGuinnis

LANSING, Mich. - Dalys McGuinnis is this week's Great Lakes Christian College Player of the Week after a trio of huge performances propelled women's basketball to a three-game winning streak.

McGuinnis started her run on Saturday, scoring 20 in GLCC's 77-69 win over NCCAA D1 Ohio Christian. McGuinnis tied for the team lead in scoring while also picking up eight rebounds and six assists.

On Monday, McGuinnis put on her best offensive performance of the season, scoring a season-high 32 points as GLCC took down NAIA Calumet College on the road, 75-59. It was an effecient performance for McGuinnis, as she scored 10 of her 15 field goal attempts and cashed 10 of 11 free-throw attempts. Her defensive effort was just as impressive, she she paced Great Lakes with eight rebounds and four blocks as well.

Finally, on Senior Night, McGuinnis was one of five to score in double-digits for GLCC, leading the team once again with 21 points in an 85-60 win over regional foe Maranatha Baptist.

McGuinnis has been a crucial piece for a Great Lakes team rounding into form at the right time as they push for another regional title in 2026. The Northern New Mexico transfer has been an impact player since day one, playing more minutes than anyone else on the roster and leading the team in points (16.5 per game), rebounds (7.4 per game) and blocks (22).
