Women's Basketball Fall To Lawrence Tech
Women's Basketball put together a strong first half, taking a 45–39 lead into the break, but Lawrence Tech surged late to hand the Crusaders a narrow 85–78 loss. Dalys McGuinnis powered the Crusader offense with 24 points and seven rebounds while maintaining efficiency both inside and from the perimeter. MaKensie Mondy and Marin Abe added steady scoring and playmaking, helping the Crusaders stay competitive throughout. Despite shooting an impressive 47.5% from the field and winning the rebounding battle 39–25, the Crusaders struggled to contain LTU’s perimeter attack, surrendering 15 made threes. Key contributions from Anastasia Douglas inside and O’licia Porritt off the bench kept the game within reach down the stretch. Turnovers ultimately proved costly, preventing the Crusaders from capitalizing on their strong offensive execution. Women's Basketball's resilient performance showcased continued growth despite the tough home loss.
