Men's Soccer loses close game to Bluffton

The Crusader Men's Soccer program hosted NCAA D3 Bluffton University, A game which ended with a scoreline of 1-0 in favor of the Bluffton Beavers.  An error in the Crusader backline led to a Bluffton goal 15 minutes into the first half. The Crusaders had numerous chances to equalize but could not take advantage of them. The Bluffton backline were able to see out the rest of the game to keep out the Crusaders.

Coach Cody Bayn had this to say -  "Overall I think we looked very good this early on in the season, we created ample opportunities to score and just couldn't quite find the back of the net.  Defensively we were well organized and just unlucky in the way we conceded a goal, but that's the way the game goes.  It was a perfect match up for us and I look forward to playing Bluffton again next season."
