MSOC loses at Mt Vernon Nazarene

Mount Vernon 4-1 Great Lakes Christian College

The Crusader Men's Soccer program Travelled to Mt Vernon Nazarene in Ohio to take on the Cougars. The Cougards compete in the Crossroads League in the NAIA. 

The Cougars got on the board early putting up 2-0 in the first half, They also managed to put the ball in the net 2 more times in the second hald. 

The Crusaders lone goal came from a rebounded penalty kick late in the second half, Jonny Torres with the goal for the Crusaders. 

Coach Cody Bayn had this to say - "I was happy that we created a handful of chances against a very strong MVNU team.  Our speed of play still needs to improve but this was a tactically and technically strong team for us to test ourselves against.  It was a wonderful opportunity to travel and play at an amazing facility, we appreciate MVNU's hospitality."

The Crusaders host NCAA D3 Manchester University on Saturday September 14th - 5pm Kickoff
