Men's Soccer road trip ends in loss to Health Sciences and Pharmacy
ST. LOUIS - Great Lakes Christian College's St. Louis road trip ended in a second straight loss on Sunday, 4-0 to the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy.
Great Lakes held UHSP out for the first half-hour, but when senior defender Gavin Ewalt went down with a hamstring injury, the floodgates opened and UHSP scored four goals in 11 minutes to quickly take over the game.
GLCC did not conceded again in the second half, but the damage was done and they could not find many opportunities themselves as UHSP went on to win.
UHSP took 25 shots to Great Lakes' six and put 11 on target to GLCC's one. Jaden Talley made seven saves for Great Lakes and Alec Johnson earned the clean sheet for UHSP with one.
Ty Medlock picked up a yellow card for UHSP.
