HARRODSBURG, Kent. - Great Lakes Christian College men's soccer held a halftime lead over regional opponent Campbellsville Harrodsburg on Friday, but couldn't hold on, losing 3-1 on the road.
Caleb Yonker put the visitors ahead with an unassisted goal in the fourth minute and Alexzander Walker made 11 saves in goal to keep Great Lakes ahead 1-0 at halftime.
Harrodsburg broke through early in the second half as Hunter Booth and Gavin Padgett both scored in the first quarter-hour of the period to put CUH up 2-1. Booth added an insurance goal in the 82nd to put the game away for good.
Walker finished the game with 16 saves. Great Lakes took eight shots in total but only put three on goal.
Jacob Leazenby received a yellow card for GLCC. Dominic Pusey and Blake Hanen were both booked for Harrodsburg.
GLCC will face Grace Christian at home on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
