BRYN ATHYN, Penn. - Great Lakes Christian College men's basketball defeated Bryn Athyn College on Saturday in a clash between twin brother head coaches Richard and Sean Westerlund.
After a tense defensive first half that saw GLCC ahead 35-32 at the break, both offenses went off in the second, Great Lakes out-pacing their hosts to hold on for their 11th-straight win.
Isiah Reed led all scorers with 23 points. Kylan Shipp scored 20 and Whitney Harris added 14 off the bench. As a team, Great Lakes shot 14/29 from three (48.3%) and 34/69 (49.3%) from the floor.
Jamal Cannady, Jr. paced Bryn Athyn with 22 points. Noah Riley scored 18 and Jaryn McCann picked up a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
GLCC returns home for the final weekend of the regular season to face Lincoln Christian on Saturday at 3:00 at the Doty.
